Verse 10, “The world also is established so that it cannot be moved.” What? Well, all the green people don’t want to read that! They want to tear that out of the scriptures. Man is nowhere described in the Bible that he gets the privilege to destroy the earth, because the earth is the Lord’s.
Verse 10, “He shall judge and rule the people righteously and with justice. Let the heavens be glad…” Do you know that Heaven is a real joyful place? Some of you that frown every service will never enjoy it. Verse 11, “And let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all the things which fill it.” He’s talking about everything glorifying God.
Verse 12, “Let the field be exultant, and all that is in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy…” When you see the trees blowing in the wind, they’re just worshipping! That’s all they’re doing. Isaiah says that’s what they do. My tomatoes are out back and they’re just worshipping the Lord. My hot peppers are getting bigger and changing color and they’re saying “Hallelujah! It’s hot out here!”
Verse 13, “…Before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge and govern the earth! He shall judge the world with righteousness and justice and the peoples with His faithfulness and truth.” Let me say this to you. God tells us something here by that psalm. That everything… The animals, the plants, the ocean, mankind. Everything has to come to the revelation that He is the Lord and that we are to worship Him in everything.
